It's Alive!
ISU is collaborating with NASA Ames and Senseta on a small Mars rover test bed. Our main task is to make the current rover autonomous.
Right now, the rover is controlled via a ground station and joystick. We are implementing two main projects this year:
iPad interface to control the rover
autonomous movement between GPS waypoints
